Under The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, more commonly known as FERPA, universities are unable to disclose specific educational information without the release of information from the student. Full details regarding Tulane and adherence to FERPA can be found here.
As mentioned above, under federal law, we are prohibited from discussing specific academic information unless we have a release of information form signed by the student. Without this document, we can only discuss general university policies and procedures. You may download a copy of our Release of Information Form< below. Please keep in mind that this form is only for the Newcomb-Tulane College Academic Advising Center. A separate form would need to be filed for other departments.
