Meet our Peer College Advisors, a dedicated group of experienced students ready to support and guide you on your academic journey. These Peer College Advisors, who have successfully navigated the challenges of college life, are here to share insights, provide helpful tips, and offer a student's perspective on course selection, time management, and campus resources. Whether you're a First-Year student looking to navigate your first semester or a returning student seeking additional guidance, our Peer College Advisors are a valuable resource committed to helping you thrive academically.

The Peer College Advisors are available for drop-in meetings in Mussafer Hall as well as 1-on-1 virtual appointments.

Liza Cisneros (she/her)

Liza is a Junior majoring in International Relations and Homeland Security. In addition to being a Peer Advisor, she is a Wave of Support Intern and part of the executive board for Tulane for UNICEF. In her free time, Liza enjoys going to the gym, running, listening to music, cooking, and painting.

Brynn Cross (she/her)

Brynn is from Baltimore, Maryland. She is a junior majoring in Psychology. Outside of Peer Advising, Brynn was a Wave Leader and is involved in Tulane Psi Chi and TUSTEP.

Neisha Gilmore (she/her)

Neisha is a junior at Tulane. She is a double major in Sociology and Social Policy & Practice while minoring in Africana Studies. Fun fact: Neisha is a waveleader, peer mentor, and a peer advisor on campus.

Keira Kurtz (she/her/hers)

Keira is a Junior studying Public Health with minors in Psychology and SLAM originally from California. Keira volunteers on the Swim4Succes Executive Board, works as a research assistant, and spends most of her free time with her dog!

Yasmine McDonald (she/her)

Yasmine is currently a Sophomore at Tulane, pursuing a Neuroscience degree with a minor in Public Health. During her free time, Yasmine enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with family and friends!

Bethany Milner (she/her/hers)

Bethany Milner is a sophomore majoring in Communication and Digital Media Practices with a minor in SLAM on the pre-law track. Along with being a Peer Advisor, Bethany is a TIDES Peer Mentor, External Vice President of the Black Student Union, Outreach Chair for TASL, a Student Assistant for Green Wave Athletics Strategic Communications team, and a volunteer tutor for After-School Newcomb Tutoring.

Morgan Peister (he/him/his)

Morgan is from Kansas City. He is a sophomore majoring in Cell & Molecular Biology with coordinate majors in Linguistics & Cognitive Studies, on the pre-med track. Morgan plays in the Tulane Marching Band, is a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, and is part of the Roller Skating Club. "I'm super excited to work as a Peer Advisor and can't wait to see y'all at our advising drop-ins!"

Lilly Shepherd (she/her)

Lilly Shepherd is a junior at Tulane. She is a major in Neuroscience with minors in Philosophy and Religious Studies, and is a pre-med student. In addition to being a Peer Advisor, Lilly is also a Peer Mentor for a first-year TIDES course and involved in several on- and off-campus organizations! "I am originally from Columbus OH and I am a big Buckeyes fan!"

Mary Evelyne White (she/her

Mary Evelyne is a sophomore from Marietta, GA majoring in French & Linguistics, and minoring in Political Science. On campus, she is a Peer Advisor, Newcomb Scholar, Peer Tutor, French Department ambassador, and Newcomb Peer Mentor. She is especially passionate about language education, international development, and LGBTQIA+ equality. Outside of school & work, she loves crocheting, painting, & learning languages!

Misha Meyer

Misha (she/her) is a junior majoring in Psychology with minors in Spanish, Education, and Health & Wellness. She is from central New Jersey and is a dual citizen of the Czech Republic. One day, Misha hopes to become either a clinical psychosexologist, foreign language teacher, or success coach. Around campus, she has served as a PSL, FY5, Vice President of Ballroom Dance, Vice President of German Club, Director of Marketing on the Residence Hall Association,TUPals Mentor, and 504 Voices lab research assistant. In her free time, Misha loves to go on unreasonably long walks, unicycle, crochet stuffed animals, binge self-help content, and learn new languages! "If you see me around campus, be sure to say hello!"
