Meet our Peer College Advisors, a dedicated group of experienced students ready to support and guide you on your academic journey. These Peer College Advisors, who have successfully navigated the challenges of college life, are here to share insights, provide helpful tips, and offer a student's perspective on course selection, time management, and campus resources. Whether you're a First-Year student looking to navigate your first semester or a returning student seeking additional guidance, our Peer College Advisors are a valuable resource committed to helping you thrive academically.

The Peer College Advisors are available for in-person drop-in meetings in Mussafer Hall from 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday. In addition, they are available for virtual advising from 4-6pm, Monday-Friday. Cooper Bruce

Cooper Bruce hails from the Philadelphia area and is studying Neuroscience. If he's not helping you out as a peer advisor, Cooper can be found on the fields or court playing in club sports, in Dixon Hall practicing the bass, volunteering as a debate coach, or hanging out with friends.

Caroline Curry

Caroline Curry is currently a Sophomore at Tulane, majoring in Chemical Engineering and minoring in Math. She is involved in Theta Tau, Society of Women Engineers, and Tulane University Special Olympics.

Adrienne Durr

Adrienne Durr is a second-year student pursuing a joint BSM-MACCT, majoring in finance with a Business Analytics & AI certificate. In addition to serving as a Peer College Advisor, Adrienne is a Newcomb-Tulane College Dean's Ambassador and Social Media Chair for the Tulane Alliance of Black Business Students.

Alexa Kiernan

Alexa Kiernan is a senior majoring in English. On campus, she serves as the President of the Surf Club, a trip leader for Tulane Outdoor Adventures, and a social chair for Epsilon Eta. In her free time, she is a professional scuba diver and loves reading. 

Mbathio Mbaye

Mbathio Mbaye is a sophomore pursuing a degree in Sociology with a minor in both Psychology and Social Work. In her free time, Mbathio enjoys watching the sunset, going out to eat, watching video essays, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Yasmine McDonald (she/her)

Yasmine is a senior majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in public health. She is on the pre-med track. Outside of her academics, Yasmine enjoys taking walks in Audubon Park and soaking up the scenery.

Bethany Milner (she/her/hers)

Bethany Milner is a senior majoring in Communication & Digital Media Practices on the Pre-Law track. In addition to her peer advising role, she holds other leadership and mentorship roles such as being President of Tulane Black Student Union, President of the Nu Mu Citywide Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, a Resident Advisor, an American Sign Language tutor for Tulane Athletics, and a volunteer for Urban Impact Ministries.

Scarlett Seyler

Scarlett is a native of New Orleans and a senior majoring in Political Economy. She is graduating early after only two years. She is passionate about community service, partnering with Grace at Green Light, Step-Up Louisiana, and VOTE, as well as undergraduate research, particularly in the field of economic systems in New Orleans.

Candace Weeden

Candace Weeden is a junior majoring in Neuroscience and Cellular & Molecular Biology with a minor in Psychology, and is pursuing the pre-medicine track.  Outside of classes, she is involved in on-campus research, success coaching, the Tulane Neuroscience Association, and is a Resident Advisor. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and hanging out with friends.
