Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (S/U) Grading Option

The last day to opt into this grade type is Friday, October 17, 2025. Please review the NTC policy regarding this grade type in the University Catalog: https://catalog.tulane.edu/newcomb-tulane/#academicpoliciestext.

Please make note of the following points. 

>The S/U option may NOT be used to satisfy any major, minor, or certificate requirements.

>Fall 2025 students or later may NOT use the S/U option to satisfy any NTC Core Curriculum requirements.

>Students who matriculated to Tulane prior to Fall 2025 may NOT use the S/U option towards writing requirements, foreign language, formal reasoning, and laboratory science components of the core curriculum.
