Top Scholars Checklist

You have taken your first step in your college journey: scheduling an advising session to register for the Fall 2024 semester. Now that you have done that, be sure to add the date and time to your calendar and set some reminders to help you out.

Then, accomplish the tasks below prior to your advising session as this will help you get the most out of your advising session.

• COMPLETE this online registration worksheet (OPENS IN NEW WINDOW) at least 48 hours prior to your advising appointment to provide information about your academic background and interests. You will need your Tulane ID number [located in your advising sign up email and in your Green Wave portal] If you don’t have a Tulane email address, you can leave that field blank.
• COMPLETE the online Language Placement process (OPENS IN NEW WINDOW) at least three days prior to your advising appointment. Here, you’ll choose the language(s) you wish to study at Tulane, indicate your previous language experience, and get placed in the course that best fits your experience level in that language.
• REVIEW the 2023-2024 Academic Planning Guide for information about AP and IB credit, transferring college courses for Tulane credit, sample schedules for a variety of academic interests, and more.
